"Acrobat Key" defeats Adobes DRM and password protection
12 February 2010
As announced in the Security Magazine Hakin9, issue 5/2009, "Acrobat Key" removes DRM restrictions on Adobe PDF files, such as limitations on copying content, printing, and other actions. Furthermore, it "recovers" passwords required to open the document.

With the MARX Media Protection solution, such an approach will not work: the protected document is encrypted with 128bit AES encryption. Only users with the corresponding CRYPTO-BOX will be able to open the document.
