For software developers and distributors who, together with their products, deliver sensitive and valuable data – such as databases, calculations, blueprints, software settings, logs, statistics, or web documents – the SmarxOS Data Protection Kit, combined with the CRYPTO-BOX, offers reliable protection for these application critical data. A completely new feature is the encryption of web documents via the Internet Explorer kernel as an embedded browser, including many "satellite formats" such as images (GIF, JPG, PNG, etc.), Macromedia Flash, and various video and audio files.
In combination with the Data Protection Kit the CRYPTO-BOX offers double protection: not only the application itself, but also specific application data are exclusively provided in encrypted form, and can only be opened with the corresponding CRYPTO-BOX hardware key. How can you take advantage of the convenience of digital delivery without the risk that your intellectual property will fall into the wrong hands? Allow access to documents or data only to legitimate users which have the matching CRYPTO-BOX hardware module.
